Hey i was wondering if i am able to replace my stock tailights with some stock 02 tailights from an ss, i just like the newer ones better

 

Yes you can. I put the newer style ones on my 96, when I had one. I did need to "modify" how the original sockets fit into the light housings just a little bit with a utility knife. The tabs are situated a little differently. But the new style tail lights do bolt right up in place of the old style.

 

yeah, the 98+ use smaller sockets for the 3156/57 spade bulbs. I went to my local savage yard and paid 25 bucks for a rear harness from a late model and then sodered them in place.
