Default 98 starts hard when warm

I just bought a 98 camaro with 3.8 liter sometimes after it's warm it starts hard, the seller posted this "tps sensor, it idles high sometimes, then if i pull the connection 4 the tps its fine." I haven't had a problem with idling "yet" but as I said it starts hard sometimes after it's warmed up. Other wise it seems to run fine.

it did it again today and I noticed that it also smells like oil when it does it. Don't smell oil any other time.
