i recently got 96 ss and the service lt comes on code said bank 1 and 2 dn stream o2 censer not reading. found out that there not there got the parts to install but one prob the driver sides censer is up tords the front of the car the cat is now under the drivers seat would it be a problem to extend the wire harness connector to the o2 censer.

 

I live in fort worth im not an awsome tech but i can help maybe. YOur check engine light should be coming on. Have you checked for codes. Have you checked to see what the tps voltage is. Maybe try checking or replacing the coolatn temp sensor on the water pump that can make your car run like **** or not run at all. Just check over everything you will eventually figure it out. shops charge way to freakin much and like in your case they are wasteing your money on **** that isnt even broken. Make sure you get your old opti and the other parts they replaced from the shop since there still good and they have no reason to keep them.
