well im not if someone can help me with this or not.. ive been doing a lot of work on painting my motorcycle. i did some bondo work and filled in all the deep scratches and cracks and just painted the fairings satin black.. look pretty good i think the whole bike would look kool if it was all flat black..

anyways, i went to autozone for the bondo and i found some green paint that looks almost excatly like my car!!!

its closer than any paint i had seen and its metalic as well.

im trying to fix my ground effects on my car.. the front is all chipped up and broken from hitting the ground. im planning on either using fiber glass or bondo to straighten it up and put it back together and i want to paint it green!

i bought some paint at lowes but u can tell the difference easily. The paint at autozone have codes and i was wondering if there is a site or something that has the stock color codes for our cars?? it would be freakin awesome if i could match it! so any help is greatly apreciated!

While you were in Auto Zone, did you happen to see a paint application book hanging by a chain near the paint?

 

umm no i didnt see a book.. there may have been one but i didnt pay too much attention.. i just saw the color that matched my car.
