Hello, I recently bought a automatic 1994 z28 camaro. It runs in park but idles at about 500 rpms. Doesnt fluctuate. When starting it you have to just barely tap the gas pedal to start it. Worst part when you try to put it in gear it dies on me right away. I would appreciate and ideas and help. Kind of needing to get it fixed soon.

 

My 82 does same thing but they are supposed to idle at 500 in drive...it doesnt really sound like its idling that low though. Did you try adjusting the idle screw?
