Default 94 z28 heat not getting hot

I have a 94 z28 and iam having problems with my heat. when u turn the heat on the air comeing out of the vents is like luke warm. i know my heating core is good because its not leaking plus the car runs fine so i dont know wat it can be. My car runs at about 180 but proly a little less. can there be a circulating problem with my wate? I also changed my thermostat and still no help. Plus in which direction the antifreeze flow to the heater core ( for example, goes in the top hose and exits the bottom hose or vise versa)

ok brother you want your heat fixed listen to me............

you have a clogged heater core. trust me! now you can try flushing it but it will only last so long, i flushed my z28 out like 3 times last year.

finally just sent $70 at autozone for a brand new one and havent had a problem since.

not the **** like nice and hot! not that ice cold problem...

Is it just the heater that isn't working, or does the temp gauge stay low as well?

Default heat not working

the temp use to stay below the first line ( i dont know what temp that would be ) but i changed the thermostat and it now runs a little under the halfway line. but even with the car running a little hotter the air that is blowing out still isnt hot. Also i put a thermometer in the radiator and it reads 102 degrees when the thermostat says its higher. Also the engine fans pretty much are always on. Last i changed the head gaskets at the end of last winter and i know the heat worked before that, so do you think there could be a problem there?
