RE: 4th gen chip HP upgrades?
First off, please stop spamming the whole place with the same message.
The only way to upgrade the PCM is to reprogram it. In order of effectiveness:
(1) Professional dyno tune
(2) With a PC using an edit program (you can really scramble the PM if you don't know what you are doing)
(3) Hand held programmers, that allow several preset programs
(4)With dongle modules that are left plugged into the diagnostic port. (minor changes)
If the car is stock, do not expect much improvement as the factory did a pretty good job already.

RE: 4th gen chip HP upgrades?
well pete thanks for the info, i really do appreciate it. i was not sure if it was worth doing or not, but i wanted to ask as manypeole as possible
also byplacing my question on 4 different boards is hardly, "spamming the whole place", if there is 25+ different boards. dont overexaggerate. i just wanted as much help as possible, so i increased my chances of a response by posting on more than one location.
thankyou.

Pete is a moderator, he is involved in setting the rules. Part of the rules you signed up for when you made your account specify that you cannot post the same topic in multiple boards, but only in the most relevant forum. anything else is defined by the forum as spam.
I was actually going to tell you the same thing, but then I saw that Pete got to it, so i didnt feel a need
