Default 427 Forged Steel Crank

I have a big block Chevy crankshaft, p/n# 7115 indicating it is a 3.76 stroke (396, 402, 427), forged 5140 steel, cross-drilled and nitrided. This particular part number crank wasused in the L88 and ZL1 427 engines. My crankshaft has been ground .010 on the mains and rods. It needs cleaned up and polished. Anyone have an idea what it might be worth?

Default RE: 427 Forged Steel Crank

[&:] as a rough guess id say in at least the 500-750 range and possibly higher especially for the restorer looking for # matching parts. i do some dealing in bbc parts and its been some years since the last forged crank i sold and it went for $1000 but it was a bowtie 454 virgin. check ebay for a similar crank its usually a pretty good guesstimator of what stuff is worth kurt
