HI, Im doing a V8 conversion into my fiero and im looking at engines.
now normally i would not consider a 305, but this one sounds nice.
it belongs to a local guy and its still in the car. he claims that the engine
is a 335hp "H.O" version of the 305 and that it is stock. also the engine is low mileage 35,000 miles. its in a 85 Z-28 Auto and once again he says its a 335hp 5.0L H.O TPI engine.

Now i cant find anything about stock 335hp TPI 305's

Can anyone varify the existence of such engine, and give me a code or somthing telling what it is?

sorry, they dont exist.

 

Not a stock motor at least. 335hp in a 305 is somewhat easy if built properly. But GM has never released a 305 over 300 hp.
