Default 1990 3.1 V6 not starting

hey guys, i've been trying to get my old 3.1 v6 to start back up, and it's being a pain in the butt. when i try and start it, it shakes like it's going to fall apart (the whole car shakes when it's trying to start). i've already checked injectors and all the plugs. they're all hitting just fine. after about the first three rotations of the crank it will start to catch and fire but then it stalls out (never even gets enough rpm to register on the tach). i haven't checked the timing yet. could it possibly be that it jumped a sprocket on the timing chain?? any help would be great!

How long has it been sitting? Normally time would not effect a timing chain. I assume it ran OK when it was parked?

When you say you know the injectors are "hitting" you mean the computer is firing them or you have good spray pattern? When you say the plugs are firing do they fire when stress? did you use a inline tester?

Normal issues from sitting are varnish left by gas. This will cause the injector to spray in a uneven pattern. The gas itself can be bad. Spark plug wire seem tonot like a lot of sitting. Vacuum lines tend to crack and even brake off after sitting but that normally cause a high idle. It mayt take a few minutes of running to get the lifters all pumped back up.

well it sat in an impound lot (thanks to my aunt) for 23 days, but it started right up when i got it out. i've started it up every days since i've gotten it back.

and the injectors are firing with good spray (sorry, should have been a little more specific).

not sure what you mean by in "stress". but i just had them grounded and checked to see if they sparked, which they did.

Wait, I thought you put a 350 in your Camaro... or do you have two?
