I have purchaced a 1984 camaro berlinetta without a drivetrain or rearend, i am going to put an LT1 from a 1995 camaro into it and i was wondering what i would need to change and what is reccomended for this conversion

actually there called berlinetta...but i would try buying a motor and trans possibly from a wrecked LT1 car, then put a ford 9 inch under the rear.

yeah the camaro i have the LT1 from was wrecked i just wanted to know if anyone had done this swap before and what i would have to do to suspension and i have a 4L60E trans from this car also with rear end 3.73 posi and what the possably LT1 performance parts i could use

I think you'll need new suspension.

The fuel system for a LT1 car (or upgrade the fuel pump), computer etc, maybe the motor mounts, trans cross member

this car isnt ment to be an all out drag car just a show car with some go i am an ase certified technican from ferris state in michigan and wanted to know what parts i would need from that 1995 camaro since i can get the drivetrain is anything but the drivetrain and interior worth taking and the suspension i need is the 1989 iroc-z suspension but i think the ford 9 inch is overkill but thanks for the idea
