It would give those ricer kids that have stock Hondas the POSSIBILITY of saying. Yeah I beat a Camaro on the track. Your choice but I would not do it. I didn't do it with my '94 T-bird that had a V8 cause it was a slug sometimes. Have fun with the 'maro though.

 

well i have to say some people have no pride. i seen some completely stock vehicles turning low 20's at the track last weekend and they did it with a smile lol. i guess it's not wanting what you don't have but, wanting what you already got that gives peace of mind lol. sick

 

i give props to thirdgencamaro for taking out the 2.8 to the strip, i wanted to take my 2.8 out once to my strip but i punked out and started saving up money to buy this 86 iroc down the street, it's the L98 5.7 350!!! according to sicks camaro tech. database only 50 were produced.

 

2x the props on the 2.8. I bought one new right after high school. It was my first COOL car ! Moved up to a red 87 Iroc Z with T-tops a few years later. And was in the 16's with it

 

And one last thought. Racing isn't all about winning. I love to win and do so more than I lose but there's no shame in just going to the strip and having fun. I raced a kid a few weeks ago in a dodge colt that was pulling 19's and was having a blast. Not everyone has the coin to get their car in the 12's or whatever. Sometimes ya just gotta enjoy the ride!
