, but I was looking around for something with 100,000+miles[:@] in ok condition, that will give me a reason to built up the block for boost or maybe even go with an LS7...I think it would be a shame to abuse a car in the condition yours is...

the original post talked about "Vette Guys ". Hey' It's a Chevy too. Just for fun, New Z06 505Hp 428CID runs 11.40's @ 125 in the quarter. Fastest PRODUCTION car ever produced by a regular manufacturer. It's not a factory piece with an addon blower etc. Just a killer engine and a great package from an American auto manufacturer. Check out the spec's on the engine. Titanium Connecting Rods and valves, Dry sump oiling....WOW a racing engine in disquise. That's 505 HP @ the rear whells, Man what's this beast got at the clutch? GM, please make this an available option when the new Camaro comes out! Amazin'!

I was referring to the 1st post on this form. ford guys at a Chevy site. and so on. the Chevy guys also do it at the ford sites . It lots of fun to read and see how the other 1/2 lives.

Where I hang out at, fast car guys hang out with other fast car guys. We all like the speed whether GM/Chevy/Mopar/Toyota/Nissan/Mitsubishi/Subaru,etc.... Yes, there is trash talking, but it comes with the racing game.

I have my 87 Z28 and 98 Civic... My kinda g/f wants a mustang... my kinda bud has a 90 RS and 80 Camaro w/350, his kinda g/f has a 300 Z. Speed is speed, whether it's all motor, forced induction, eight/six/four cylinders, or illegal drug (joking!).
To Bill - is the new Z06 505 at the wheels or just motor? I've heard differently...
Don't get me wrong, I'd love one... I drool every time I see one... Vette's always been my fave, and I just want to know my facts straight.

They are here from our sister site www.mustangforums.com . We have a good relationship with them so don't start any trouble over there. They don't bother me anyways, cause 99.9% of them can't beat my car
