my car 2001 auto ss camaro low miles if it matters/ i have not ran yet this year cus i havent had my car all that long and ive been busy and what and not now the local dragstrip is closed for the season untill next year but i was wanting to know what do you guys think i would run in the quarter im completly bone stock right from the factory excpt for a flowmaster muffler and i have nitto 555r dr on my car and im good at racing cus ive owned previous cars in the past b4 this like other camaros but this is my first ls1. and ive raced at the strip quite offten so im pretty skilled in driving at the track? so what would you guys think i could run being a fairly good racer/driver after a few practice runs and what is my car capable of as it sits?

 

anywhere btwn 13.3-13.6 my buddy has a 2000 ss with dr's and he ran btwn this in stock form.

 

It has the potential to break into the 12's but that's with Evan Smith driving. I would say a more realistic time will be low 13's

 

i heard slicks really help so i got a set of 10" super sticky radials... how much do you think this will help my time in the spring? what should i be expecting when the weather breaks?

 

With your mods I would say you should low 13's easy.

 

Be easy with slicks on the stock rear...

 

yea no joke... i walked across the staging area in Norwalk, Ohio this summer(where you do your burnouts) and the pavement was so sticky my shoes were coming off my feet.... i can just imagine what all that grip can do to my axle, or my gears, or anything for that matter..

 

I did not need speed, just skill to get one of these...
