That's damn good for a SXT! Keep going and see what your limits are with that motor. No hard feelings or nor am I insulting you or your car but I think FWD cars look f**cking funny with slicks up front! And if you don't mind me asking where at in Il?

Well, most other people have folded their rods over on stock motors a little under where I am now. I think I'm already at the limits. Unless there was a dramatic change in the metallurgy in 03 when the SRT4 was released, I'm right at the limit.

I agree. It doesn't look right. But the more you see it, the less abstract it seems. But then again, it's a neon. It's ugly by nature anyway... heh

I'm in Elgin. Near Randall Rd. and I-90.

I'm not to far from there and by any chance do you know a kid with a 94 RX-7 red? Do you drive on the street or what?

I can't say I do. I've been daily driving it for about 2 months now, since my beater neon is exactly what you would expect a beater neon to be. Brakes were acting a little goofy, so 3 calipers, 2 sets of pads, and amaster cylinder later, it's still on jack stands. It's kinda funny to have to boot up a laptop to go to work, but it makes the drive that much more fun.
