Hey guys i just bought a 89 conv iroc with a 383 stroker dart pro 1, heads 750 holley,comp cam extreme energy cam 477 480 lift and 268 280 duration sub frame connectors,tires i have out back are nitro 2455016 NT555r drag every time i launch i cant hook up, i need to know what psi you guys would run the tries at for max traction or if you would suggest diff tires I NEED TO GET A 1/4 MILE TIME ON THIS CAR also how do i get a pic on here.

I run my BFG drag radials at 15 psi but they are known to hook a lot better than a Nitto. Start out at 20 and work your way down untill your 60 foot falls off. Remember only make one change at a time.

 

Hey JD, good to see another Mustang Forums member here. With the time in your sig, my Stang wouldn't even be be a race, it would be a murder. My SRT-4 would be a better match, but hell, anytime I can meet someone from the forums I am up for it, so when you plan on making a grove trip, let me know, my GF lives about 5 minutes away, so I can be there just about any weekend. I will make sure to get stoker to come also, so we both have a good murder under our belts (you don't mind on beating up on other Camaro's do you??)

 

I am actually up there quite a bit during the summer. I race at RSD a bit and we take the NMRA car there a bit. I'll be sure and drop you a line when I go up next. Actaully I am headed to Burlington today for my nephews b-day but the SS is staying home. BTW I plan on being a bit fastwer than the time in my sig by spring time[:-] Oh yea and I don't mind beating up on other Camaros
