well that seems a little like cheating. what about all the other ppl that lightened their cars themselves? that just seems lazy to buy one thats already had all the work done to it

"none will ever be street legal" lol
i still bet you will see them all over the streets. especially in places like here in iowa where there are no testing, u just show up with a title and u can get it registered.

thats freaking awesome though, i bet the mopar guys are going nuts. people gave them such a hard time for their 4100lbs pig, but -1500 [&:] thats...... thats..... hell, i dont even KNOW what that is!!! but it will scoot!
no but seriously they are talking like honda civic weight in a rwd 425hp car. dodge just moved up a peg in my book

You mis-read it Spec:
“Our ultimate goal is to get 1500 lb (680 kg) out."
They're removing 1500 lbs. Not making the car weigh 1500 lbs.
That would be a good trick!
And you say I don't notice things?

no, i read it right. re-read my post. i said 4100 lbs - 1500 is something I dont know [8D]. no civic that i know of is 1500lbs. they are usually 2700ish which is about what they are talking for the challenger

And I did notice the -. I thought you were using it as a hyphen, not as a subtraction.
Frgin abbrvtons!
-1500 lbs. isn't too hard to believe, considering how much fat is in modern cars.
I bet you could strip a honda to be closer to the 1500 lb mark given the same kind of diet.
