Default slicks.... need help with launch

Hi, I have a 1997 camaro z28, with 12bolt moser and spohn torque arm with loop, 4.11 gears, 6spd standard, LT headers, flowmaster exhaust, intercooled supercharger 8lbs boost, methanol injection, 52mm TB. So I got skinnies for the front and MT Slicks for the back.
My question,
(im fairly new to drag racing)
1-What psi should i have my MT slicks on and
2-What rpms should I launch at?

Thanks!

im not to sure about the psi but as for the launch every track is different some are stickier than others your best bet is to just get out on the track and make some passes youll figure out your sweet spot

Need more info on the slicks to give a better guess but start with 18-20psi and go up 1/2 pound at a time till you have the best 60 foot time. generally you want the most air that you can hook with, but if you go to high it wont hook. As far as the RPM you should be good at 3500.

I think you have that mixed up with radials.

If you're on a slick, you'll see better times with a lower tire pressure, somewhere around 12-15psi. If its a radial tire, 18-20 will work fine

^ +1 What he said. Depending on how big the slicks are and how well your suspension is set up, you shoul be able to get off the line with the engine up around 5000 RPM. For best results and to prevent the engine from bogging, you need a little wheel spin, just enough to haze the tires, but don't want to light them up. Just keep in mind that big slicks have no mercy and can cause parts to break. Also get off the gas immediately if the wheels start to hop, as once that heppens the race is lost and parts will break.
