lot of money? lol, didn't know I was rich. I just work my rear off, and only buy car parts. No GF to waste money and time on, and I buy cheap clothes. The V6 with some minor upgrades (gears and exhaust) will spank a 305 Camaro, this I know. It's not saying much, but the V6's were quick little engines when they first came out. I'll be spanking lt1's, and stock ls1's here soon enough. If I don't break my tranny.

Some models of the V6 have a posi I believe.
Musicman, is your Camaro a 3.4 or 3.8?

I didnt mean you were rich, you just dont seem to have anything else to spend money on other than your car since it seems the be the v6 with the biggest mod list. I mean you have done alot over the course of a year.

The Y-87 package has upgraded brakes the same suspensions that is on the two base V8 cars and the same 3.42 LSD rear. Musicman is only bolted right now from what i understand not a tone of money at all. Not sure about that T-5 keeping up with LS1 cars other then that i would like to see a V6 guy put some over cocky LT1/LS1 guys in there place.

lol, I'm going to snap that T5 like a dried twig. But when we do manual transmission rebuilds in class, I'm going to order some parts and beef it up as much as I can. And yes, I've only got bolt ons, and a dead posi for that matter.
Good news is that I'm going to get another 3800 in a few days to start my build, which will involve forged pistons (8.0:1) .020 over, cam, and forged connecting rods. Then a blower. Then I'm going to call it quits on the V6 modding. After that it starts to get really expensive, and too much of a headache.

Well you have a nicely modded car for a 18/19 year old kid who i assume works a part time job and goes to school..

19, goes to school, no job. I'm going to a community college right now, so I have too much money saved up for school. With my scholarship, it's $800 a term right now. Next term will be $600. So my college account with $20,000 is a bit overkill. Dad let me use some of the money out of it for car parts. But I'm saving the rest for after college for a down payment on a house, car, or maybe another school (there's a performance auto tech school in Ohio I'm interested in, that also has some alt. fuel stuff).

I also make money during the summer when it's hay season. Made about $2000 last summer, but half went into my college account. I plan to spend more time in the field this summer, and make more. Plus I got offered a job at a Toyota dealership already, but it's too much of a commute for me.
