how can i help my car in the 1/8th

Default how can i help my car in the 1/8th

So far I have only got a Dual K&N air filter and a chip to go along with it. Does any one know of some other things i could to thats not so expencive. I cant afford turbos or superchargers. I just want it to do a little better like everyone else. Just lookin for some tips.

next two mods i would definatly do a exhuast system and set of gears ....if you dont have emissions just drill out your CAT and put a muffler on it, flowmaster has loudest and pretty good quality, best quality and more of a build up sound wouild be borla. Gears go with either 3.73 or 4.10. 3.73 are an all around good gear for rpm range and performance. 4.10's are a stronger gear and better for performance but give u alot higher rpm's when cruisin so, they arent best for daily driver but would perform best in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile

Gears. If you want cheap HP, nitrous is the way to go. Just do it right and don't blow anything up. A small shot of N20 is fine for stock motors, but don't get greedy with it, that's where people get hooked to the cheap HP and go overboard, and again blow stuff up.
