heading to the track...
so, i want to head to the track this weekend, to test out my car with my co worker (he has a 1998 mustang, *gasp*, i know, i know, wrong crowd, bad influence, etc...its just the weekend)lol. anyways, just wanted to check to see if i would be dropping my tranny or blowing up my driveshaft with just stock everything except the rear diff. havent gotten my shaft loops yet either...

You should be fine, the cars were made for this sort of thing . If it's all stock, the support should be just fine. I would just hold off on that nitrous that came with the car, i'd look more into that first.

You should be ok. Your car looks very clean and is probaly well taken care of. You should be ok at the track just take it easy at first and work you way up. Also if you have a Auto give the trany time to cool between passes.

yea it blows that i have an auto, but the 5.7's only came stock with autos. was thinking about dropping some money and getting a hold of a 5 or 6 speed, do some real damage at the track then. but as of now the nitrous system is out, the switchs need work and some wires and fuses are blown. ill get er cleaned up some time though.
