First time to the track

Default First time to the track

I finally got to the track and was told my 02 SS should be running around 8.8 - 9.0 in the 1/8. I ran a 8.590 at 84.222 mph and am curius if this is more of an average time or if my all stock car is running better times than most any insite will be apreciated thanks redhotss

A lot depends on track surface, weather conditions, altitude, etc.. The only accurate way to compare cars is to run them on the same track, on the same day, at the same time, and on the same lane, with the same driver.

yeah, you never know if some *** is gonna drive right in the water pit in front of you, or have an oil leak, even if they clean it up its slippery, and if the track is hot as hell either its too slick or you get lucky and its very grippy.
