Default First Time @ Track With New Car

I ended up going to Indianapolis this weekend to race their sportsman class and just thought I'd post the numbers for my first pass. As you can see by my sig the car is pretty much stock, keep in mind it also has 108,xxx
RT: -0.017
60': 2.067
1/8: 8.97 @ 79.61
1/4: 13.85 @ 100.61

I made it to the 3rd round before the car stumbled off the line because I'm an idiot and didn't have enough gas in the tank.

Haha a legit mistake, I could see myself doing that. Seems like a pretty good time to me. Good job!

I thought those times seemed pretty good considering what I've read on this site says these cars should run 14.00 - 14.30's stock and considering it has 108,xxx miles.

Pretty good times you've got there. Looks like you know how to drive, a 2 sec 60' time on street tires shows you know how to launch it.

I can't take all the credit for the 2.067 60', I have to give it to those guys at Indy they did a good job with their track prep. I was shocked that it was that low with street tires, I just took themdown to 28 psi and I launched around 1200.My home track is CCD colescountydragwayusa.com but they weren't open this past weekend. Do any of you guys bracket race a weekly program anywhere?
