I am looking at buying a car and I really like the way rally cars run and look. I have a general understanding of cars but not a great one. So my question is what is the fastest rally racing type car that can be driven in America?

 

A real rally car is a custom built machine, they are not sold by your local car dealer, and none of them meet government safety and pollution requirements, although they may be safer than many street driven cars. If you have the proper connections with racing organizations. you may be able to convince the factory to sell you a completely stripped down car and build from there. What makes these type of cars fast is mostly due to the driver and equipment preparation.
