I have no drag slip but for the first time since I bought my 2000 SS in April I stomped the pedal to the floor. I was doing 60 MPH, in exactly 2 seconds the car was at 80 MPH. It is scary fast. 5.7 LS1 V 8. I'm taking it to the National's in Syracuse next weekend.

 

I forgot about this thread. October of last year I made some runs for my NHRA competition license. Had to get 6 runs in before the ran started falling. Just needed to make a few 10 second runs and a few runs in the 9's. I was only running the car to the 1/8 mile and shutting down. Ended up running a 9.49 at 114. I was only full throttle for 3.1 seconds and was completely off the throttle at 6.7 seconds. This is the same 427SBC that ran the 9.56 pass in 2016. Back then it only had a small shot of nitrous and no blower. Now it has an F2 Procharger and is on E85.
