Default Does anyone run a mini spool?

I was just curious, we ran today and I still am a little ticked off... we made it to the 3rd round and I tried to do the burnout and the car shifted sidways and only turned one tire. We ran an 8.45 and a 8.47 (1/8th mile) then spun in the third round and ran a 8.52 and lost. I am sure the posi is slipping and being this is just a drag car and time is limited I was thinking about using a mini spool untill I change gears. If anyone uses one what brand do you use?

If it is just a drag car put a spool in it. It will launch straighter and a spool is lighter so that alos helps.

I run a mini-spool. I dont know a lot about them, other then the fact that they aren't strong enough for some applications. Judging by your e/t, I would suggest getting a full spool. They are bullet proof. I'm temporarily running this rear, because i destroyed mine. Is the posi you have now a clutch type?
