Can This Be Right?
So I was at a friend's house with some other people, and on my way home one of my friends races me up a hill. He did have about two lengths ahead of me at the base of the hill. So we're going up the hill, and now I'm aboutone carlength behind him. I started to ease off a bit since its probably not good to do about 75-80 around a 45 degree turn, plus the two lanes merged into one. Now hypothetically, say I didn't ease off it, would I have been catch up and get ahead with about another 100-150 yards? He has a stock manual1995 BMW 325i -(I think a 325i) and I have a 2000 automatic 3.8 with not many mods beside a smooth airlid and K&N air filter.
The BMW does 0-60 in 7.7 seconds and runs a 1/4 mile of 16 flat.
The fact that your automatic isent helping, but you are alot knewer and faster. driver you car right and you should put a few lengths on him.
