i guess ive never drifted, but porsche's top handling cars are mid engine, not front. those guys dont drift persay.... they call it "oversteer" and they use it as a tool in racing

If you watch Super cars exposed or some episodes of Top Gear some times they drift a Ferrari or Porsche around a corner or two. I watched em close off Mulholland Drive on SCE and run a Ferrari up it with at much throttle as possible pretty much turning the tires to marshmallows at every corner and pushing the rear out too.

ever find it ironic that the two biggest things for ricers is drifting, and their light little fwd cars? ever hear one of them claim their integra is set up for drift? just find it amusing that they cant accomplish what they want pretty much no matter what. must suck to be that self-dissatisfying

Idk if you remember but awhile back there was this kid in my area that owns like a 90-91 Integra non-vtec that he did nothing more than spray paint the engine red and put in a new oem clutch and kept saying he would walk me in my Camaro. Then I raced him, beat him... twice... anyway, he was into the 1/4 mile as are a lot of ricers in my area (mainly because they watched too much Fast and the Furious...) All the people with European and some people with those "tuner" Japanese cars are all about the road course and auto-x.

actually they're rear engined. the only cars Porsche has that are mid engined are the Boxster, Cayman, and Carrera GT (recent cars i should say, the monster 917's were mid engined too).
