Anybody ever had a trans not upshift on a hard pass?My trans will not shift out of 1st whenever it hooks solid,also first gear and overdrive wont work until after it sits.Thanks

 

mine wouldent upshift to 2nd but it shifted to 3rd and there was no OD. had to have it rebuilt.

Did u have diff gears put in it?

 

Yes Sir, 4.10s and I haven't changed the speedometer because it usually shifts perfectly consistant and real firm like this,but when I set the speedometer for the 4.10s and a28 inch tall tire it shifted late and real sluggish, so I just put it back to original. I do think it is a pcm or electrical problem though,because it did this before and we rebuilt the trans and it looked perfect inside at that time. Thank you though, Shaun

 

The only problem I have personaly had experience with shifting is when my Vaccum modulator came loose. It just refused to shift untill like 3500 rpm. Dosent sound like the same problem, good luck.
