Gentlemen, what do we all not understand about "chips" and 4th gens that are '94+. YOU CANNOT CHIP A '94+ 4TH GEN, THEY DON'T HAVE CHIPS!!! You can get the PCM reprogrammed, but they do not use a memcal chip or any other sort of read-only type chip, end of story.

They can program chips to reprogram the PCM on their own. Link above is chips for a 1998 camaro from summit racing. I have never been a big fan of chips & have never personally used one. So I dont endorse anything about them or care about their HP #s. But they do exsist and there right there^

TorqueTilla: your right that there are chips out there that are POS and add no real HP. All they usally are is a resister that messes with the mass air flow sensor. there on ebay all the time and their rubbish. However there are also accual chips that is changing all the setting in your car the same way a tune would.

get a pro to reprogram the computer, not buy a chip, an for 1000 bucks you could always plumb a 75 or 100 shot of Nitrous an still do exhaust, also unless you are tryin to stay street legal, which is a waste of time unless you sell the car anyway, when you do exhaust, dont put a cat in, it restricts flow, an cuts down on sound
