you gonna be in the high 15s to very low 16s in the 1/4 depending on were you live for under 1000 bucks you can do intake and exaughst and maybe a tune and that may knock you down a few tenths

When they were in their prime they did 0-60 in about 7.5 seconds & the 1/4 mile in about 15.7

for 1,000 I would get either a cold air intake or a lid. along with a magnaflow cat back exhuast (flowmaster do get a good sound, but if you want performence go with magnaflow or borla) along with some pacesetter headers.

depending on how good of condition the car & engine, how good of a driver you are and the conditions that day you should be able to knock about 1/2 second off and with any luck hit 14s.

Exhaust - Headers, Cat, Muffler & system will run you around $600 IF your getting stuff of ebay etc for cheap
Intake - Lid, Cold air induction, K&N will set you back another 250 IF you buy new, try searching for a good used system
Not much you could do w/ the extra 150, maybe pcmforless tune, or ignition upgrades if you want but the tune would be more effective.

a low temp therm. is a cheap, easy "mod" if you wanna call it that

also, if you do have $200 left over, You can buy a stage 2 jet chip which from what I hear adds about 15HP, but i have nothing to confirm that. You can look they sell them on summit racing.

chips are a waste of money, look into burning ur own prom, and tuning it correctly, you'll see maxium gains.

lol alright man. Buy the chip mabbe 2 horsepower for like 150 dollars. If you burn ur own chip it will take a while and alot of knowlege but theres a whole forum on thirdgen.org that helps, you'll see gains of atleast 20 hp
