couple high points:
the z28 mentioned STILL has the fastest time. NOT the SS. SS=Z28
Stock car made 321rwhp, which, is high by our standards, but not unattainable. This was also on a dynojet

just for the sake of argument the Z/28 ran a faster time but it was in much better conditions. im not saying the SS is superior to the Z but i would just like to see a side to side in identical conditions stock for stock heads up Z vs SS race just to put it to rest. and by the way thats awesome 12s stock N/A isnt that almost the Same as a Terminator?

 

there was a terminator/ss test done and the termie outran the SS by almost a half second each time. mid 12s isnt too hard for a terminator stock.

 

thats what i thought around 12.6's or so and they say the SS coulda gone 12.70's with good air, the preconceived notion of Terminator vs. LS1 terminator wins stock for stock might not be 100% it could actually be a drivers race giving a slight edge to the terminator.
