just bought so i havent ran it yet.with my car being well taken care of low mileage 2001 ss automatic camaro with flowmaster muffler, dr for tires can i hit 12.9? with just those things done nothing else.?

 

Anything is possible. It depends on your rear end set up and the conditions at the track. Warm track, cool weather, tail wind, anything helps. When you do try it, let us know.

 

No Offense, but don't get your hopes up. It would be close, but don't the 01' SS's run mid 13's stock?

With exhaust, you might pull 2 tenths of a second off. The DR's will help, but from what i've seen, the 4th gen's grab very well anyways. Whatever helps, best of luck.

 

My guess would be more like 13.2-13.4, but you never know on a right day.

 

GM High Tech Performance magazine got a 98 or 99 Z/28 6 speed to run 12.8x, but that was a 6 speed with Evan Smith driving, and no offence you do not drive like him. You do have a good chance since you are on a set of DR's, but it will really come down to what the air is like the day you run.
