ok i ran a 14.8 and a 15.01 ... just figured out the miss was a "misplaced" wire boot. my fault entirely as i put it on a manilfold bolt. LMAO. i feel soo stupid, but it was a cheap fix lol. what kind of times am i lookin at with full MSD ignition, exhaust, intake, shift kit, factory stall, sway bar removed and slicks?

 

What is your setup/specs?

 

flowmaster cat back 3"with 80 series crossflow muffler, k&n cai, b&m shift kit, msd coil, dist, cap n rotor, 8.5 mm wires, not sure what im puttin out, never had it dynoed.. im guessing thats what u meant?

 

whats stock for that car?

 

Depending on what year it is they run 14.2-14.4...that's when the car is brand new...so maybe low 14's

ok.... i made 2 more passes on sunday... had a better reaction time on my second run with a .106, but my slicks had too much pressure in them at 22 psi

best run was completely the way i would drive it (no slicks, sway bar on, etc.)

Good reaction time man. and 13.8 is a hell of a run. How did you come out of the hole and what was the last 1/8 like for you and the car. You might be able to get a little more out of the hole if your getting a good hook up.

 

you should be pullingbetter times than that in the 1/8th ... my car is bone stock (down to a paper air filter) and i have ran a best of 8.82. with the mods you have you should be beating my car not running a tenth slower...

 

hmm... not sure why my 1/8 time was slower... it was street tires @ 20psi, so they were slightly breaking loose.. i tried drag radials at the wrong pressure and ran a 18.33 @ 82mph and spun thru the 1/8 lol.. but the 13.8 run it seemed like when it hit 3rd gear right around the 1/8 mark, it just kinda stopped pulling. didnt really feel like it had anything left. is this just because it is an LT1? is there a way to help this? thanks
