Default Ford GT

I'm not much of a Ford fan, although the Ford GT is easily the best thing Ford has sent out the door (in my opinion). My friend Andrew's (who recently graduated) dad has one (along with the Hummer, '72 Camaro, Maserati, '10 Shelby Mustang, '94 Supra, etc.) and it looks & sounds absolutely ridiculous. I'd be surprised if anyone has ever cruised in one of these before due to the general rarity of them, but I'll ask anyways.

If you had the money, would you buy a Ford GT & why?

Here's what it looks like:

If I had the money for a Ford GT, I'd buy a '69 Camaro and put the rest into my mortgage.

If I had that type of money, I would be able to support myself well financially. So yes, that car is an amazing machine. I have driven it and its by far the most fun when at full throttle. And it sounds amazing thanks to that supercharger. I drool over Ford GTs. I like the GT40 too, the older one looks more aggressive.

It was even more amazing in person. The roof was at my waist and I'm 5' 8". It was absolutely spotless and it just looked plain FAST.

If I have driven the newer GT and that was fast enough already, then I could imagine. And I know how low they are in real life.... just getting into the newer one was a challenge for me even though im only 6'.

No true Chevy guy would buy a Ford of any kind. The GT is a great looking car, but I'd rather spend the money on a race ready Corvette C6R.

I understand where you come from because you have a nice camaro, but the Ford GT is a car that the public can buy where as this Corvette is not unless you have a racing license. And besides, the new Ford GTX1 is supah fast....

Stop hating on a well built Ford (rarely ever heared too).
