Default what cam should i get for my 305?

so i made up my mind on doing just a rebuild on my 305, nothing to serious im not looking to make 400hp. just want to restore my car so i can drive it again.. so, my engine was back firing through my intake and was told it would be 1k to fix it if the heads werent cracked, but there fine since i got them off and cleaned them up a bit.. so i started taking my lifters out and wow!! huge damage to 3 of them. so i have to replace them and my cam, i have no idea what cam to get since theres like 50 to choose from.. id like a little more grunt out of my engine so perhaps an upgrade on the cam? but i have no idea what to get or what my lift should be or duration.. i got a 305tpi the camaro is a 1986 if that helps any. thanks! also, im getting my stuff from summitracing.com

uhm....... if its computer controlled put an identical one in it. they cant change from what the computer is trying to control. or flashed.... if not you will have to do everything i went though, and if you dont have a rats idea what your doing, dont do it. have a shop or a friend put it back together and drive it.

things i did where rip the computer and harness out of the car, ground my oil pressure wire at the OBD computer to tag zero, dropped my gas tank and ripped fuel pump out, made a mechanical pickup for it. camed the holy crap out of my 305 and didnt just gasket match but hogged the heads too flow the air the cam is trying to move, and im in the 370hp zone with my 305, now if you dont know anyone who can help you, or you dont know what your doing, find a friend who can help you install those heads and replace the cam and lifters with an identical grind and drive it,

i hate to see people have a hard time with these cars, like anything, it breaks, and alot of the time we just break them more cause we see someone else's car and want to make ours like there's,
