I have an automatic 81 camaro and would like to convert it over to a 5 speed. The ones that I have been looking at are the t56's that are behind either the ls1 or the lt1. I was wondering what one is the stronger one and what I would have to do in order to bolt it up to my engine. I know that there is no room to run a hydrolic clutch so i have to use levers and wasn't sure if i would have to use a different bellhousing as well or just modify the one that would come with it. Any information would be helpfull!!!!!
