terrible problem
so i am on the freeway and my engine starts rattling so I get off (its like 3 blocks before I can stop where i am not directly in the middle of a busy street)
I stop and my coolant starts to drain from the overflow pretty much right then. I crack the hood and check everything i can think of, I am completely out of oil. It had been replaced 450 miles ago so I was pretty suprised at that. I have it brought to my house, replace the oil and coolant and it wont turn over at all.
is there ANY possibility that it is something other than cracked block or head gasket?

Losing your oil and blowing your coolant means you have a serious problem such as a cracked cylinder wall or blown head gasket. Your loss of oil could have seized the engine. But you could have gotten lucky (if you want to call it that) and possibly a cylinder sucked in some coolant and hydro-locked the engine (water doesn't compress). Pull your spark plugs and then see if you can get the engine to turn over. If it doesn't, uh-oh!

Based on your description you most likely had a major oil leak start and it leaked out all the oil the overheating is a result of no oil. I have seen it with new cars. As a general rule there is very little that can be salvaged from the motor. I hope Camaro 69 is right but in over 20 years working on cars I have seen one car that was hydra locked. That car had been sitting untouched for 3 years.
