Default steel braded hoses

I just got my 406 small block dropped into my 67. I wanted a little extra show so i bought those braded steel fuel hose sleeves; but, i cant figure out a good way to get them on. Does anyone know how or know a trick to getting them on?

when you cut your hose to right length before you cut make sure you put some tapeon the hose to keep the steelfrom unraveling and if your having trouble putting on your threaded ends they sell a tool for that so you wont end up cutting your fingers all up

Did you buy the sleeves that fit over your existing hoses or did you buy new steel braided hoses?

Theres a big difference.
