Go with a 47.375" gear. I think you can get them at Target.

Changing gear ratios is not like changing your oil. If you don't have the horses up front nothingyou do to therear is going to change it. But if you have a extra $500/$$700 go for it and learn a lesson.

The Car certainly has the power. Its 1986 Iroc-z 350 with a 5speed Maneul Tranny and a bit of engine work.. Exhaust is on its way also.

Yup, my buddie(Previous Owner) Had the 350Fuel injection swapped in. too bad its not carburated, i preferr a carb system, Much more Easier/Convienent to work on. Is it Hard/Expensive to Swtich from FI system to Carb? i was told there's alot of work involved.

But yah What gears would you suggest?

Well you mayhave a 10-bolt 2-series carrier with a possible open rear (no limited slip) . Find a late model 3rd gen3:42 rear axle and swap the whole rear. Otherwise, expect to spend an ton of money on parts and labor. My opinion.
