Default Leaking Coolant

I have 1972 350 that leaks coolant into the case because theres a spot on the block surface where the head sits that got nicked with a grinder. Its maybe a 1/16 of an inch from one of the cylinders. Any way to fix this?

Is that 1/16" deep? If so, I would fill it in with epoxy or weld it and then have the block decked after that. Where exactly is the nick? Can you put up a picture of it?

sorry no pictures i would take me 2 days to get them. 1/16 of and inch is how far it is from one of the cylinders. It is not very deep cause it was just nicked with a grinder.

I would replace the headgaskets with graphite ones- they tend to shape better to imperfections. You could try some epoxy on the spot too, but not too much.
