Default propain fueled 350 to gas? pros/ cons please

i have a 81 z28 camaro and i can get a good deal on a 88 truck that has a clean 350 in it. the 350 was powered by propain and i was wondering if i convert it back to gas what im looking at.

i want to hear the pros and cons. will i have any problems with rings, scoring or does the propain weaken a 350 internals? i was told that it would have burned cleaner than a gas engine and that the internals would be clean.

i really know nothing of propain fueled motor so any info is greatly appreciated.

ok so this truck isa 87 and it is carburated and the fuel lines are caped off and this propain thing goes on the top of the carb. the guy i got it from switched it back to gasoline. i think im going to do a compression test on it and then take off the heads and do a complete engine gasket replacement on it and i plan on putting in a different cam in it as well since i will have it all opened up.

Considering the price of gasoline, ou may want to keep the propane setup. LOL
