you know what would be best is prolly like a 4bt or something it would be cheaper to run as u could mix used oil and diesel fuel together or get the grease car kit and run used fryer oil man would almost be free to very cheap to run

have you looked around for a 2-53 detroit. with 45# injectors your pushing a little over 40 hp.

Are you proposing to produce AC or DC. If you are producing AC the generator should only at a speed which will produce 60 cycle AC current (The RPM has to be a multiple of 60). If you are going to work with a DC machine speed is not important but a voltage regulator will be needed to prevent burning up your equipment, as increased speed increases voltage.

Well I'm not interested at all in a diesel because of my fuel source which I'm going to be getting into so please do not ask. In the generator there is a regulator that regulates voltage amperage and hertz so we do not need to worry about. If we please all stay on topic.

i know u want to stay on topic but a diesel would be the way to go and outlast any gas motor thats just the way it is

Like I said a diesel us not compatable with my fuel source.

i would think u would be able to run the oil the distance if u swap filter half way through and run like 30w oil like the one guy said just make sure its synthetic

u could have an oil sample done half way through and c what they say that way u know ur not doing any damage also
