Default New guy here, need a little help.

I posted this in another section too, but then realized that this might be the section better suited to what I need.

Last year I put in a manual oil pressure gauge and replaced the oil pump, filter etc... When I would start my car it would shoot up to 55-60 PSI, after it was to operating temperature the gauge would show between 15-20 PSI, Everything was working great.
Well for the last 8 months I was called away and my car just sat. Now that I am back when I started it, it shows 0 oil pressure, now the gauge is still connected. Recently we have had some pretty cold weather here though.

It's a 1986 Z28 with the 350 Small block.

I was needing some help maybe brainstorming what it could be. I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Oil pressure will always be higher when the engine is cold then warm cuz the oil is thicker when cold. The first thing you need to do is find out if it is an oil pressure problem, or the gauge sending unit, or the gauge itself. I have no idea what kinda diagnostic tools you have but the first step is to check the engines actual oil pressure, if it is good then you need to test the sending unit, and if it is good then you need a new gauge.
