I am saving to build a 2nd or 3rd Gen Camaro and have seen a few strokers in magazines and on the internet.
The LS7 is a 427 CID from the factory so it doesn't need to be stroked but if this was setup for Forced Induction(forged 9.25-9.5:1 CR) with two Precision TA-5557 turbos or a F1-A Procharger with 8-15 psi would it survive?
A LQ4/9 bored to 4.005 from 4.002 with a 3.8 inch stroker crank is 383 cid and a LS3 bored to 4.071 from 4.065 with the same crank is 396 cid.
Based on cost and durability which would Ya'll use.

I would go with a LQ9 stroked out to 408 cubic inches. This would require a 4.005 bore and a 4.00 inch crank. the block is made of iron which should help keep the cost low and offers more strength also.
