I know this forum is for camaros but I need help with my Chevy pickup. Its a 95 Chevy Silverado stepside with the stock V6 in it. Well, the V6 has over 200,000 miles on it and starting to get weak. ie: no power, no pickup! What I want to do is take the spare 305 motor that I have and put it in my truck. I need to know what has to be done to make the transfer. The 305 motor is early 80s motor. So if there is anyone that can help me out on this matter I would appreciate it. if your stock engine is throttle body set up the 305 with throttle body. wireharnes is plug and play. all you would have to change is the comp from v6 comp to v8 comp
