Picking a cam based on how it will sound is completly the wrong way to do things. What are your current mods to the engine? What are your plans in the future for the car? Over camming is one of the most common mistakes people make and they usually end up with a car that is slower than if they left the stock cam in.

yeah, do that twice, and then decide

I agree with JD. The sound the car makes is not dependent upon just the cam, so if that is your only criteria you will probably be upset at some point. The lt4 cam isnt bad, but personally I would go a little bigger than that (not sure what the stock heads can handle before you are just shooting urself in the foot tho). I have a friend that runs taht cam with the lt4 heads and it sounds pretty good. Not the fastest though
