hp guess

hi.i have a bone stock 98 z28.from what i hear there 305 stock on hp.i thinkning of installing a few mods but im not really sure of how much hp they would give me and im just trying to get some ppls opinions on this and their estimated hp and torque if i were to do this.wat i would like to do is a 3500 stahl converter, 3.90 gears, ls6 intake, lid(with K & N filter), and borla exhaust.any ideas or cheap ways 2 get hp besides nitrous or a cam or headers.thanx. any help is appreciated

One thing I can tell you for sure, the high stall converter and lower rear end gears are not going to add any horses, but will get the car off the line quicker if you have the right tires.

yeah i @ least figured that.ive got some money but i dont want a racecar.im still in high school and im lucky just to have the car...i dont want to push it.LOL but any suggestios or ideas other than what ive mentioned??

hp is expensive...period

Nitrous is the cheapest way, but not the best

I would look for NA power (cam, heads, intake, bolt-ons)

and the stall and gears, although not adding hp, would make your car faster, which is all that matters eh
