Hey all,

I am new here. I have 1997 SS Camero that do to business has been parked for well over a year.

The car is an Automatic and ran perfect before parking.

Any suggestions for starting this vehicle back up after such a long wait.

 

Does the car crank when you turn the key?

 

change out your oil before... old oil causes issues

 

UNless you left the battery connected there shouldnt be any problems. Like niteman said... the oil might give you issues. I would definetly let it run for a minute or two before driving...you want the oil to go from the bottom of the oil pan back into the motor. If the oil was good when you stored it it should still be good, otherwise I would change it asap, it should probably be changed soon anyways.
