Assuming the builder is reputable that should make a pretty nice engine for your car.

The first item that caught my eye was the first generation vortec head term. The factory vortec 350 heads have three triangles on the front of the head I dont think I see them on those heads and also the factory vortecs dont have the center intake manifold bolts it looks like those do. Not saying they are bad heads just not the typical vortecs I have seen..

Ask the seller a question about it,many times those ebay adds use a generic picture and it is not the actual engine you are bidding on.

I cant view ebay at work but I can say that I am very confident that Griff will point you in the proper direction.

They may dyno some and to get that Horsepower, but it is with open headers no accessories or any drive line. So you will be lucky for 250 or less. I am not saying it is not a decent motor, just be aware of the claimed numbers.

If he's running a good compression (9.5+) with decent vortec heads then 300 at the crank is an easy job. A 76cc head with 8.5:1 compression can make 250 hp at the crank and are sold as a crate engine by GM and warrantied for a 3 years or 100,000 miles if they're put in vehicles that they're supposed to be in. That's also with a .383 intake and .401 exhaust lift. The one you have is a .460/.470 lift so you'll breathe a little better.

All that chrome adds about 30+ hp btw. ;p
